Dock Reed

The Reed Group, Inc. was founded by Dock Reed who specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions of private companies with revenues in excess of $5 million. Dock was born in North Alabama; educated at Florida State University, Samford University and Washburn University. As corporate officer of a Fortune 100 company, Dock spoke at several national conventions on Business Ethics and Integrity in the marketplace. Dock has owned several different businesses over the past thirty years and understands the sensitivity and needs from a buyer’s and a seller’s standpoint. He has personally completed over one hundred and twenty transactions and continues his primary role as dealmaker.

Kathy Hausladen

Kathy brings a real estate (commercial and residential) and accounting background to the team. She is experienced in the administrative and insurance industry as well. Born in central Illinois educated at Illinois Central College, served six years in the Air Force, TAC, Direct Air Support. She and her family have been residents of Alabama since 2001. She is an active volunteer of the Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross and her daughters’ school to name a few. Kathy stays busy in her spare time being active in outdoor sports such as water sports, bicycling, running and gardening as well as planning and applying for scholarships with her daughter.

Jo Ann Reed

Jo Ann Reed is Dock’s wife of 50 years, and she has been with the company since the beginning. She has had experience as Executive Assistant to General Counsel for a large insurance company. Jo Ann has run a couple of businesses for Dock over the years. They have two sons and five grandchildren. Jo Ann does volunteer work as a care giver, and she enjoys spending time in her garden.
